Wayne Wells, a seasoned veteran of the film and television industry, will delve into the world of stunt performance, sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise on what it takes to become a successful film stunt performer. He will also discuss the various roles within a stunt team, including rigging and safety, highlighting the importance of attention to detail, physical fitness, and creativity in bringing high-octane action sequences to life on screen. With years of experience in stunt coordination, Wells will provide insight into the inner workings of a stunt team, offering valuable tips and advice for those looking to break into the industry or advance their careers as stunt performers.

Wayne Wells holds triple digit credits in stunt performing, stunt coordinating, and fight choreography. He has worked on productions like The Boys and Trailer Park Boys.  He is a Golden Gloves Boxing Champion, holds a 5th degree black belt in Japanese Jiu Jitsu, and high ranks in several other martial arts disciplines.  Wayne holds accreditations in car crashes, high and low falls, rigging, and fire burns.  In 2023, Wayne was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Stunt Coordination for his work on The Fight Machine, a boxing film shot in Northern Ontario.  In 2024, Wayne won the award for Best Fight Choreography at the New York International Film Awards for his work on EFC, a film about women's mixed martial arts.  Wayne has since launched a series of training seminars in Northern Ontario with ambitions to build a stronger local talent base of experienced film stunt performers.
